Joel is a technically gifted Left Back. He is very calm under pressure and has a great eye for a pass.

Another one of Col Stromsoy’s summer signings, Sam comes to Benfield having played for Team Northumbria, Hebburn Town and Newton Aycliffe. An extremely talented player, he has great mobility and an attacking nature. Sure to be a crowd favourite as he is with the rest of his teammates. Promises to be a great addition to the squad. One of Col Stromsoy’s summer signings from Newton Aycliffe, Nick has previously played for Team Northumbria and Consett as well as Newton Aycliffe. He has impressed everyone at the club since his arrival and has proved to be an extremely popular player both on and off the pitch. Nick can play on either side of the defence and is equally happy offensively as he is with his defensive duties.

Kyle has joined the Club on loan from Gateshead FC where he is on a one year professional contract. Kyle, a graduate of Gateshead’s Academy made his senior debut at Alfreton Town in February of this year. Joining Benfield as part of a new partnership with Gateshead FC, Kyle is a powerful player for someone so young and who is technically excellent particularly making attacking runs forward from deep positions on the pitch. Joe is a young player who came through the ranks at North Shields Juniors. He is a strong, powerful Centre Back who is excellent in the air but also comfortable with the ball at his feet. He epitomises the modern young centre back with loads of potential and everyone is excited to see him develop over the coming season.
