Aiden is one of Benfield’s most experienced midfielders even though he is still relatively young. A powerful and technically proficient player, he has a commanding presence in the centre of the park. Very good in the air, he is also a dynamic box to box player who will be a key player in the squad this season. Former clubs include Dunston UTS and Whitley Bay.
Cameron signed from Whitley Bay in 2020/21 and is the nephew of one of England’s greatest ever players, Paul Gascoigne. Cameron is one of the Northern League’s hottest young players, hardworking, technically gifted and learning with every game. Capable of playing in-between the lines and supporting the attack with goals from midfield. A young player who is well thought of by everyone at the club. Gez is a powerful, athletic attack minded midfield player who is going to add real energy and strength to the midfield this season. A former Team Northumbria and Newton Aycliffe player, he is experienced in the Northern League and comfortable in a number of different positions. He is very adept at building the play through the midfield and always capable of scoring goals. One to watch this season.
Ben is a hardworking, talented young central midfield player who made his debut in the 2021/22 season. Not outworked by any player, he is a reliable member of the squad who Col has looked to already to fulfil a specific tactical role despite his relative inexperience at senior level. Another exciting prospect.
